SPSP is constituted as a Consortium of PARTIES since January 2021. Within each PARTY, one or more GROUPs may provide and\/or access data from SPSP. Each GROUP sits at the SPSP Executive Board with one seat.<\/p>\n

Interested groups may also join SPSP as a PARTNER for a specific project requiring data provision and\/or access. Each PARTNER sits at the SPSP Advisory Board with one seat.<\/p>\n

The Swiss Pathogen Surveillance Platform welcomes new GROUPS and PARTNERS!<\/p>\n

Register a new GROUP<\/h4>\n

If you are a laboratory interested in various microbes\/pathogens, willing to contribute with a broad spectrum of genomic and\/or epidemiological data to SPSP, having a strong interest in either surveillance, research or diagnostics, or acting as a key player nationally (e.g. national reference lab) or internationally (e.g. important link to international resources\/platforms), please contact the Executive Board<\/a> to request joining as a new GROUP. The SPSP Executive Board will decide on a case-by-case basis on the admission of a new GROUP. If accepted, if the GROUP is not already part of a PARTY, it needs to joing the SPSP Consortium by signing a Deed of Adherence.<\/p>\n

Register a new PARTNER<\/h4>\n

If your laboratory has a more specific interest, it is also possible to join the SPSP consortium as a Partner, e.g. for the course of a specific project requiring submission\/access to SPSP data, or if you are interested in a specific type of data or pathogen (e.g. SARS-CoV-2). Please contact the SPSP Executive Board<\/a> to request joining as a PARTNER. The SPSP Executive Board will review applications on a case-by-case basis. If accepted, the PARTNER needs to enter into a bilateral agreement with SPSP.<\/p>\n

Roles and responsibilities of the Boards<\/h3>\n

The PARTIES have implemented a governance structure composed of an Executive, Advisory and Scientific Board.<\/p>\n

The SPSP Executive Board<\/strong> is the ultimate decision-making body of SPSP. It takes all strategic decisions and supervises activities carried out by the SPSP Consortium. The Executive Board may delegate part of its responsibilities to other boards or subcommittees.<\/p>\n

The SPSP Advisory Board<\/strong> is constituted of stakeholders with expertise in molecular surveillance, public health and pathogen genomics based research. They provide inputs for shaping the future of SPSP, discuss and propose new strategic aspects, and contribute to its overall quality and impact within the wider community.<\/p>\n
