Surveillance of food-borne pathogens

Since the autumn 2025, SPSP has received L. monocytogenes data from the National Reference Centre for Enteropathogenic Bacteria and Listeria (NENT). Starting summer 2026, NENT will routinely submit Listeria sequence data to SPSP, which will transmit analysis results to the Federal Office of Public Health.
